The Slice Craft Knife (Safety Cap) includes the same safety blade as the 10548 model, but also features our innovative safety cap. You’ll never lose the protective covering for the Slice 10589 because it’s part of the handle design. To expose the blade, twist the cap to unlock it, slide it down the handle and twist again to keep it out of the way while you work. The Slice Craft Knife (Safety Blade) uses the same replaceable blades as the 10548 knife with the same great safety features: finger-friendly, non-sparking, chemically inert, safe up to 1600 degrees Celsius, and never rusting.
