A yellow oil with very strong, lemony-fresh, herbaceous odour, Lemongrass is a popular choice for air diffusion and fight against mosquitoes. Similar to Citronella, it contains volatile anti-mosquito components like Citronellal, which helps to cover up scents emitted by human body that mosquitoes are attracted to. The refreshing, and energising scent helps in mental concentration and alleviate stress. The antiseptic properties enhances Lemongrass position as an excellent choice as a disinfectant air diffuser. Known for its anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties, a 2015 study found lemongrass to be effective against dandruff and is great for after-care sports injuries, sprains and bruises.
Remove sealer cap and insert reed sticks.
Use more reeds for a stronger scent.
Flip the reed sticks every 1 - 2 weeks to refresh the scent.

Hot dry weather, air-conditioning, drafts, seasonal changes, and the number of reeds used are factors that affect the diffusion strength and rate. Keep our of strong sunlight or direct air-conditioning drafts to reduce rapid evaporation. For optimal performance, fibre reeds should be replaced every 2-3 months. Rattan reeds should be replaced every 2-4 months.
