Product description
Kefir is a traditional fermented milk originally produced in the Caucasus region of Russia. During fermentation, multiple lactobacillus and yeast strains are active. Kefir is highly valued and considered precious, hence why it is often referred to as the "gift from God". Due to its origins in a cold area, kefir requires low temperatures for fermentation. The flavour of NKG Original Kefir is less sour and has a unique taste that has been beloved in Russia for a long time.
Unlike regular yogurt, which is fermented with one to two types of lactobacillus, SASAMI NKG Original Kefir is fermented with four types of lactobacillus and three types of yeast. This makes it an effective aid in improving the gastrointestinal tract and balancing the probiotics and harmful germs in the digestive system. Therefore, Kefir is effective in improving dyspepsia, constipation, and has anti-aging properties. And our beauty patents on "Oral Skin Care Composition" that helps maintain healthy skin texture. Additionally, it suppresses allergies, enhances liver function, reduces LDL cholesterol, and helps to lower blood pressure.
The ingredients include Lactobacillus and Yeasts.
The instructions are as follows:
1. Preheat the milk to 50’C or use yogurt warmer for preparation.
2. Pour one sachet of SASAMI NKG Original Kefir powder into 500ml of milk (for one litre milk, use two sachets). Dissolve kefir powder into the milk and stir the mixture well or shake thoroughly approximately 10 times to blend the mixture.
3. Allow the mixture to settle for fermentation for 24-35 hours at room temperature, without shaking during fermentation process.
4. Upon the formation of curd on the surface, the process is complete. The estimated fermentation time varies depending on the type of milk used.
5. After four stages of fermentation, refrigerate the kefir. You can enhance aroma by adding your favourite topping or honey. For beginners, it is recommended to use homogenised milk.
