"I first started on this book in June 2021- we were at one of our lowest point during covid where travel restrictions were still implemented and sales was at a all time low. I remembered sitting at a cafe with a cup of Hojicha latte and a slice of my favourite Signature chocolate cake as I started on this book.

The illustrations caught my eye, and I thought how nice it would be if I could weave some faith and mindfulness into something to bring along. I started doodling but couldn't make any breakthrough. I wanted the illustrations to be created in the right mood, not under stressed conditions. I restarted on this project in Jan 2022 - started with a white palette, modified into a dark green palette (Courage), and pastel hue (Faith) 

Faith: having complete trust or confidence in something/someone

Sometimes, we need that to stop worrying and have that extra faith in life after we have tried our absolute best.
