Steps to grow all types of nutrient-rich sprouts:

1. Add beans and cold water in a mason jar.

2. Put our plastic jar lid on the jar, and then soak the beans for 8-12 hours at room temperature.

3. Filter out the water the next morning. Rinse with filtered water and drain again.

4. Place the jar upside down, away from sunlight. Repeat this process for 2 to 5 days, draining the water through the lid at least twice a day.

5. Alfalfa sprouts are about 1 inch long. Lentils, mung beans, chickpeas are about half an inch.
