Ignition sequence:push the on/off adjuster upward toward tip to release gas and turn to mid position.then holding the unit from the face and body,activate with the ignitor or regular lighter.

Adjustment:the tip temperature can be adjusted by turning the on/off adjuster.normally set the on/off adjuster forward to mid postiition when soldering or brazing.it is not nessary for the tip to glow bright red to achieve fatisfactory soldering temperatures.experience will dictate the adjuster setting required.excessive gas flow,flare-up or pulsing red may occur the regular is incorrectly adjusted,ie,set too high.
