TPA3255 is a high-performance class D power amplifier chip, which has class D efficiency and can bring high-end audio quality circuit.

The device features advanced integrated feedback design and proprietary high-speed gate driver error correction function (PurePath™ UHD). This technology can enable the device to maintain ultra-low distortion in the entire audio frequency bands, while displaying sound quality.

The device works in AD modes. When the THD is 1.5%, it can drive up to two 315W/4R loads and two 150W (unshipped power)/8R loads, and has a unique 2 VRMS input interface, connection with high-performance DAC (such as TI PCM5242).

In addition to excellent audio performance, TPA3255 also has two advantages: high-power efficiency and ultra-low power idle loss (less than 2.5W).

This can be achieved through 85mR MOSFET and optimized gate driver scheme. This scheme can significantly reduce idle loss;
