Compared with old model RF-P150, this new model RF-P150D of Panasonic has the new tuner which features an Auto Frequency Control (AFC) function to expand the AM radio reception range and simplify tuning, eliminating the need for exact tuning precision by automatically selecting the nearest station. Noise is also reduced while tuning to enhance listening comfort. In addition to the Large Dial Scale, which makes the frequency numbers larger and easier to see, a Fluorescent Pointer provides comfortable viewing in the dark. These features simplify radio tuning, particularly at night or during power interruptions.
