It's very simple and follow these instructions.

✅HOW TO OPEN THE BATTERY COVER?

Step 1: Take a coin and turn the cover to 7 O'CLOCK angle. Do not turn fully.

Step 2: Flip your clock over and the cover will fall out.

These simple steps doesn't require you to open the cap by force brutally! If anything required force, it means you are doing the wrong way.

✅WHY MY CLOCK ALWAYS "SLEEP" AND REQUIRE TO TAP TO "WAKE" IT UP?

The clock may be set to "Sound Detection" (SD) Mode also known as Power Saving Mode.

To solve this, Simply press the DOWN button and you will see "- - SD" and "on SD". Please switch it to "- - SD" to disable this function.

The Sound Detection mode is useful for those who feels the clock is too bright in the dark room and cannot sleep due to light sensitivity. This function allows the clock display will switch off. To view time, simply knock the table, touch it, or clap your hands. Switch the clock to "on SD" to enable this function.

✅WHY THE CLOCK DOES NOT WORK WITH BATTERY?

Firstly, the battery is not drained and there is nothing wrong with the battery compartment. This is a USB POWERED clock. The Battery is for memory saving only. Memory saving is to save your clock settings incase the power source is being cut off. Your clock settings are always there without you setting it all over again.
