This foot is designed to be used on sticky or delicate materials such as PVC, leatherette and also satin, silk and chiffon which in normal cases is difficult to sew. Teflon is a material that glides and slides over these fabrics easier reducing the friction when sewing and thus reducing the fabric to gather or creep.

It has a wide needle slot that allows for sewing of stitches up to 7mm in width.
