Maintenance and storage of Kalimba:

1.When the weather is dry or the temperature is high, you need to maintain the kalimba. It is recommended to put it in a case or a kalimba storage bag to maintain the appropriate humidity (30%-60%RH) to avoid deformation and cracking of the body part. It is recommended to choose mahogany kalimba and maple kalimba in colder temperature areas.

2.Kalimba should not be exposed to sunlight. If you play outdoors or under the sun, it is recommended to store and maintain it after playing.

3.After each playing, please use a clean cleaning cloth or towel to clean the sweat and hand lines on the keys to prevent the keys from rusting. If your kalimba has not been used for a long time, please apply anti-rust oil on the keys to avoid rusting.
