This book was designed for students who are struggling with composition writing and unable to score well in it for various reasons. One of the main reasons why students lose marks in content is when they leave logicalgaps in their story. Other reasons include uninteresting plot, abrupt or vague endings, constant use of inappropriate vocabulary or phrases, grammar errors and syntax errors. Based on my experience in conducting enrichment classes and workshops for upper primary level student in the past 15 years as an NIEtrained educator, I have created a series of composition Guide and Practice books for upper primary level students to help them craft credible and engaging stories based on various topics. This series uses a stepby step approach to composition writing by guiding students from the point of conceiving a story idea based on a question paper, then imagining a logical and coherent plot sequence to finally creating a sound conclusion. Particular emphasis is given to writing a story with a proper plot development where there are no logical gaps. This means every part of the story must have a sensible link with proper explanation provided for certain actions and situations where necessary. In order to write more vividly and in an engaging manner, students are also introduced to interesting vocabulary, phrases and literary expressions in this series.
