Styrax Benzoin possesses a sweet, warming, rich, vanilla-like aroma with resinous undertones. It is derived from the resin of the Styrax Benzoin tree.Benzoin oil has been in use for thousands of years. Instances have been found of its use in some of the oldest civilizations of the world, particularly in their religious ceremonies. For aromatherapy, the hard resinous material is solvent extracted to create a thick, sticky absolute. Because it can be quite thick, we will package it in an amber bottle without reducer cap.
