Product description
The SRI-CANFD is a cost-effective, small form factor SPI to CANED controller. The controller utilizes the MCP2518FD as the control core, and can be easily added to a microcontroller or embedded system via the SPI interface. The blocks support CAN frames in the classic format CAN2.0B and CANFD format according to ISO11898-1:2015. supports arbitration bit rates up to 1Mbps and data bit rates up to 8Mbps. With 31 configurable transmit or receive FIFOs, 1 transmit queue, and a 32-bit timestamped transmit event FIFO, the module consumes extremely low power, up to 15uA in sleep mode, and operates at a maximum current of 20mA.
Stability: CAN interface placed on the bridge stack, can be static electricity, group pulse, surge and other destructive signals to form a leakage, protection circuits
Indicator light: the main board is placed on the green power indicator, power on that is lighted
Terminating resistor: the module has a 120-ohm terminating resistor, through the row of pins P3 access, the need to use the terminating resistor, the row of shorted pins P3
Power supply voltage: 5V and 3.3V, accessed through the row of pins, the power supply mode is as follows.
When the IO level of the main control system is 3.3V, 5V and 3.3V should be used to supply power to the module respectively.
When the IO level of the main control system is 5V, only 5V is needed to supply power to the module, and short pin P2.
