Why Lithium Battery?

Faster Recharge:

1) Li-ions can be charged in about 1–3 hours, depending on capacity. This

is much faster than the 10–12 hours needed for Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries

2) They have a longer overall life cycle of up to five years, compared to the Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH) life cycle of two to three years.

Li-ion batteries also charge much faster, perform better in extreme temperatures and hold their charge for much longer than Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries

3) Hold Charge (Voltage). Hold their charge for much longer than Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries. NiMH batteries can generally retain 30% - 70% of their charge after 30 days. Normal self discharge of NiMH batteries is about 1-3% percent per day

4) Lithium (Li-ion) better discharge rate then Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries. Higher voltage 1.5v same as normal non rechargeable battery. 1.5v works well with all device.
