Taken internally as an anti-inflammatory, it can be effective for ulcers and irritations in the mouth, upper respiratory tract.

Goldenseal can be useful for fighting bacterial infection in the mouth, gastrointestinal and urinary tracts. It can disinfect against many common pathogens including streptococcus, staphylococcus and salmonella.

Goldenseal may also be used for digestive issues and liver conditions & can help rid dogs of tapeworm and even giardia.

Active Ingredients

Wildcrafted Goldenseal Root (Hydrastis canadensis)............500 mg

Other Ingredients

Gelatin (capsule) and stearic acid (vegetable source).

Not manufactured with yeast, wheat, gluten, soy, corn, milk, egg, fish, shellfish, or tree nut ingredients.

Directions (Suggested Starting Dose)

Small Dogs 1/2 capsule twice daily

Medium Dogs 1 capsule twice daily

Large Dogs 1 - 2 capsule twice daily

*Use goldenseal for a week or so at a time, not for extended periods.

Precautions

Should not be used in pregnant, newborn or hypoglycemic dogs.Do Not use long term. Do not use with other medication.
