Product description

Motherboard small speaker/alarm/motherboard buzzer/computer case buzzer/speaker
Description:
Product Introduction
Scope of use: After the computer is turned on, we will all hear a familiar sound "beep", which generally means that the computer can be used normally, and this sound is emitted from this "baby". The red line is the positive pole, and the black line is the negative pole (in fact, there is no positive or negative electrode, as long as it is connected to the Speaker interface, it can be used)
Motherboard alarm tone description
THE GENERAL MEANING OF AWARD BIOS RINGTONES IS:
1 Short: The system starts normally, which is what we can hear every day and also indicates that there is nothing wrong with the machine
2 Short: General error, please go to CMOS Setup and reset the incorrect option
1 long and 1 short: RAM or motherboard error, try to change a memory, if it still doesn't work, you have to replace the motherboard
1 long and 2 short: The display or graphics card is wrong
1 long and 3 short: the keyboard controller is wrong, check the motherboard
1 Long 9 Short: Motherboard FlashRAM or EPROM error, BIOS corruption. Try switching to Flash RAM
Constant ringing (long sound): The memory module is not plugged in tightly or is damaged. If it still doesn't work, you can only replace a memory module
Ringing: The power supply and monitor are not properly connected to the graphics card. Check that all plugs are repeatedly short ringing: power supply issues
No sound, no display: Power issue
The general meaning of AMI BIOS Ringtone is:
1. A short sound, memory refresh failed. The memory damage is serious, and I am afraid that the memory will have to be replaced.
2. Two short sounds, memory parity error. You can go to the CMOS settings and turn off the memory Parity option, that is, set it to Disabled. However, in general, the memory module has parity and turns on parity in the CMOS settings, which is good for the stability of the microcomputer system.
3. Three short sounds, system basic memory (1st 64Kb) check failed. Let's replace the memory.
4. Four short tones, the system clock is wrong. Repair or replace the motherboard.
5. Five short sounds, CPU error. However, it may not be all the fault of the CPU itself, it may also be the CPU socket or something, if the CPU is working on other motherboards, then the fault must be with the motherboard.
6. Six short sounds, keyboard controller error. If the keyboard is not plugged in, then it is easy to do, just plug it in; If the keyboard connection is normal but there is an error message, you might as well try a good keyboard; Otherwise, there is a problem with the keyboard control chip or related parts.
7. Seven short sounds, the system real mode is wrong, can not switch to protection mode. This is also the fault of the motherboard.
8. Eight short sounds, video memory read/write errors. The memory chip on the graphics card may be damaged. If the memory plate is pluggable, just find the bad card and replace it, otherwise the graphics card will need to be repaired or replaced.
9. Nine short sounds, ROM BIOS test error. Try a good BIOS of the same type, and if it turns out that there is a problem with the BIOS, you can try to recover it by rewriting or even hot-swappping. 10. Ten short tones, register read/write error. It can only be to repair or replace the motherboard. 11. Eleven short sound, cache error.
12. If you can't hear the beep ringing and can't see the screen display, you should first check whether the power supply is connected. Secondly, you have to see if there are any missing components, such as CPU, memory module, etc. Again, unplug all the cards in question and leave only the graphics card to try. Finally, find the jumper on the motherboard that clears the CMOS settings, clear the CMOS settings, and let the BIOS return to the factory state. If there is no problem with the monitor or graphics card and the connection, and there is no problem with the CPU and memory, after the above steps, the microcomputer still does not display or ring when it is turned on, then it can only be a problem with the motherboard.
