Vesta Japan series non-stick cookware is made of heavy duty carbon steel for prolong use. The handle is made of Japanese beech wood which is elegant and enables a good grip. The double layer silicone-based non-stick coating has excellent abrasion and corrosion resistance. It is PFOA free with good non-stick quality. It allows cleaning up quickly and easily in hot soapy water. The cookware can be used on a gas stove, hot plate, and electric (ceramic/induction) stove. Before first use, wash the pan in warm soapy water and thoroughly dry. To condition, rub the interior of the pan with cooking oil and heat the pan over low to medium heat for 2 minutes. Let it cool, then wash the pan in warm soapy water. Do not use metal utensils or abrasives on the non-stick coating. Do not empty burn or use high fire or heat on the cookware. Do not clean in a dishwasher and keep the cookware dry when not in use. The quality and material of this cookware meets BS standards for cookware specifications as accepted by F.D.A.
