Product description
Product Name: 3 * 14 Round/Flat File
Particle uniformity: Traditional manufacturing techniques are used to fix diamond particles, improving adhesion, grinding accuracy, and wear resistance, making the file wear-resistant and durable.
Rubber covered handle: The handle is wrapped in soft rubber, providing a comfortable grip and anti slip and wear-resistant properties, improving efficiency of use
Good heat dissipation: It has a certain degree of heat dissipation, so that the surface of the workpiece will not change color or leave residue due to overheating during grinding
Subtle operations require careful handling
1. Diamond mixed files should not be used to file the oxide layer of the workpiece, as the oxide layer has a high hardness and is prone to damaging the file teeth. The oxide layer can be polished with a grinding wheel or chiseled off with a chisel.
2. Use one side of the new file first, grind it dull, and then use the other side.
During the use of a file, it is necessary to frequently use a copper wire brush (or steel wire brush) to brush away debris embedded in the tooth groove along the direction of the file teeth. After use, all debris must be carefully brushed away before storage.
4. When using a file, it is not advisable to speed it too fast, otherwise it may wear out prematurely. The optimal frequency for the file to travel back and forth is 40 times per minute, and the length of the file used accounts for 2/3 of the total length of the file teeth. 5. When filing workpieces with a diamond file, the file should be kept away from water, oil, or other dirt, as this can cause rust or slippage during filing.
6. Diamond files are widely used for filing hard metals and are not suitable for filing soft metals such as aluminum and copper
7. Files cannot be used as other tools, such as knocking, prying, pressing, twisting, pulling, bumping, etc.
When using a file, do not apply too much force to avoid breakage or deformation.
When storing files, they should not collide or be stacked on top of each other: the humidity in the storage area should not be too high, and it is required to maintain dryness and ventilation.
