High Quality Psittacua Handfeeding Mula.

This product is intended for the hand rearing of small & medium size parrot species (genera Nymphicus, Eolophus, Aratinga, Platycerus ...). It is a hand feeding formula, and should be used to feed the baby bird until the chicks have fledged till weaning phase. For example, in cockatiels or other parrots, it used to constitute 100% of the parrot's diet during this period. It should be gradually replaced with dry adult food.

FEEDING RECOMMENDATIONS:

Confirm that the crop is empty in the morning. It is advisable to use a first-age hand feeding formula for younger birds like Psittacus Psittacine Crop Milk. At weaning, switch progressively to Psittacus mini. Leftover formula must be discarded after each feeding bout. Once the package is opened, store in air-tight container in a cool, dry place. While refrigeration is not advisable, freezing is possible if the package is hermetically sealed.

PREPARATION:

Mix with Lukewarm water at a concentration of 20-25% (similar texture of a shaken yogurt), DAILY INTAKE Average intake is around 7-10ml per 100g of body weight and feeding bout. The number of feeding bouts per day depends on the stage of development of the chick. Crop should be full but not overstuffed.

Cereal grains and products derived thereof, oil seeds, oil fruits and products derived thereof, vegetable oil (palm, crude; sunflower, high oleic, linseed), ume seeds and products derived trees, fructose, dried papaya, dried brewer's yeast, inulin (Cichorideri vedybus 0.5g/kg), marigold extract (Tagetes erecta 0.1g/kg).
