According to legend, the chicken blood vine originally came from the foot of Mount Nanshan in Shannan, and was made by the lamas of the Zhari Jigjiga Temple in ancient times.Ancient people believed that wearing it on the wrist could alleviate joint pain throughout the body, and because it is produced at the foot of the sacred mountain, wearing it is considered very auspicious. The rattan bracelet is one of the oldest pieces of Tibetan jewellery, known in Tibetan as "Ba". "Ba" is a type of pure natural herb that grows at altitudes above 4000 metres in the mountains. The thicker the rattan, the longer it has grown; it is said that a thicker chicken blood rattan must grow for at least five years. Tibetan rattan bracelets have nodes, which are the bumps on the rattan that occur every few centimetres. According to Tibetan legend, these nodes are the incarnations of the Sky Dancer, making them exceptionally precious, which is why almost everyone in Tibet wears rattan bracelets.
The surface of the Tibetan rattan bracelet appears primitive and simple, but after wearing it for a period of time, the rattan bracelet can show a dazzling side. This is because, when worn on the wrist, the rattan rubs against the skin, gradually smoothing the rough surface, and the small amount of rattan hairs left at the "nodes" are also worn away. After about a week of wear, the rattan bracelet becomes smooth, even, and beautifully refined. This product is made from natural chicken blood rattan from the Tibet region, hand-woven, with each piece having slight differences. The wooden cut surfaces and thread remnants are normal phenomena resulting from manual production, and we hope for your understanding. Due to the limited natural length of each section of chicken blood rattan, our bracelets have a maximum diameter of 6cm, suitable for girls of average build.
