*Place the probe tip on the substance or medium to be measured.

*The thermometer will automatically switch off after 10 minutes if no other buttons are pressed.

*°C/°F - Press the °C/°F button to select the desired temperature scale.

*After automatic switch-off, the  temperature scale is retained.

*HOLD - Press the HOLD button to hold the displayed reading, press the HOLD button again to resume measuring temperature.
