•As birdnest is a very natural thing, it comes in different weight, some may be thicker and some may be smaller. For our birdnest usually it weighs about 7g to 12g per piece. For 100g, usually there are about 8 to 14 pieces, depending of thickness of each birdnest.

•As Cave birdnest tends to have impurities, it is very important to pick the impurities after soaking the birdnest.

•It is best recommended to soak our birdnest for 12 hours then double-boil for 30 minutes (up to about 40 minutes depending on the thickness of the birdnest batch).

•If you prefer to soak a shorter period of time, you may soak for about 3 hours, and double-boil it for about 45 minutes to 1 hour (similarly you will need to monitor the birdnest thickness of each batch), there is no fixed timing to boil the birdnest as the thickness varies with each batch.
