*Thermocouples are very sensitive and require good with cold compensated references.

*It is a "1-Wire" thermocouple that can have any number of splits on a single shared I/O line.

*The MAX31850K does all the work for you and easily interfaces with any 1-Wire enabled microcontroller.

*The for breakout board features the chip itself, a 3.3V regulator with a 10uF bypass capacitor, and is fully assembled and tested.

The board can be used with either "parasitic power" (power on the data lines) or "local power" (converter power from the Vin pin).

*Please note: the board does not have level shifting on the 3V data line - we did this on purpose so that it could be used in parasitic mode.

The data line must be level shifted to 3V - our 4-channel converter is perfect for 1-Wire level shifting, and you only need to use on the "1-Wire host" for all the thermocouples on the shared data line.

*The MAX31850K data format is very that of the well known 1-Wire temperature sensors, but there is no loss of compatibility.
