Known as Anainthu in Tamil, these oil lamps are crafted with the finest natural materials, making them a powerful symbol of devotion and spirituality. They are designed to offer a serene, ambient light that enhances any prayer or religious ritual.
Manufacturing in Malaysia, these Panchagavyam Vilaku have been carefully produced using an ancient recipe that combines five sacred elements. Now, with the collaboration of Sri Sokkar in Singapore, these vilakus are available for a wider audience.
Each package contains 15 pieces, neatly packed in a ziplock bag for convenience, ensuring the freshness and quality of every vilakku. These lamps are ideal for festivals, temple offerings, or daily rituals, bringing a sense of peace and sacredness to your space.
Instructions:
1. Place the vilaku in an open space, as the flames may grow large.
2. Ensure you place an unflammable plate or base beneath the lamp to avoid any accidents.
3. Insert one *thiri* (wick) inside the lamp.
4. Pour ghee into the lamp for the best results. You may also add gingerly oil, but be mindful that there is a high tendency for the oil to leak.
5. Once fully burned, the ashes can be collected and used as vibhuthi (holy ash) fertilizer for plants, providing a spiritual benefit to your garden.
