இந்தப் பாடலின் பொருள், `தூயவனே, வேதாந்த விலாசக் கடவுளே… பேரின்பமெனும் அனுபவத்திற்கு நாயகனே, மாலைகளை அணியும் செம்பொன்னெ னத் திகழ்பவனே, வன்மை சான்ற திருமாலுக்கும் வல்லவர்களுக்கும் கடவுளானவனே… என்னகத்தே மிகுந்துள்ள பயனின்மையும், பெரிய ஆணவாதி பந்தங்களும் ஒழிய ஞானமும் புகழுமுள்ள பரமான்மாவே வந்தருள்க… திருவடிச் செல்வத்தைத் தந்தருள்க…’ என்பதாகும்.
Method of Recitation
The devotees have also devised a method of reciting the Shastra Bandha. First, one should worship Gurus like Gnanasambandha, Arunagirinathar, Pamban Swamigal and then start reciting the Shastra Bandha.
It is best to start reciting the mantra for the first time at the shrines of Lord Muruga on Tuesdays, Krithigai, Visakha Nakshatra, and Shashti, which are auspicious days for Lord Muruga. The first time you do it, you should recite it 27 times.
You can recite it at home, in front of a Murugan idol or picture. It is special to start by worshiping the tree. By continuously reciting it in this way, a strong magical power will be created. It is believed that negative energies will be removed and positive energies will increase.
