Hercules 6L Wet Chemical Kitchen Fire Extinguisher

This fire extinguisher has passed the 35kV Di-electrical test. It is safe for use on live electrical equipment of up to 1000V at a distance of 1meter. However, it is still possible to be electrocuted from the foam on the floor that is in contact with live electric current. Hence, it is always important to turn off all sources of electricity.

Effective against kitchen fires especially those involving deep fryers and grease. To prevent splashing of the oil, these extinguishers are equipped with an applicator lance. This provides a degree of safety to the person operating the extinguisher. The unique lance applicator is designed to allow the wet chemical agent to disperse gently over the fire to prevent burning material from spreading.

Instructions for use

1. Read instructions before using to ensure that you have selected the correct fire extinguisher for the fire you intend to fight.

2. Pull out safety pin.

3. Apply the wet chemical agent over the burning fire, keeping out of the smoke.
