How to Use a Mini Sewing Machine Correctly
1.Holding the machine: Use four fingers of your right hand to hold the base of the machine, place your thumb naturally on the top of the body cover, and hold the entire machine steadily
2.Threading: Gently pull the thread from the spool through lead wire diagram A, then introduce the thread clamp adjustment piece
B.Pass through the guide loop again.C.Temporarily place the threaded thread end next to the machine needle, then pass the threader from the front of the machine needle (towards the machine body joint) through the needle hole, introduce the thread end into the small hole of the threader, withdraw the threader and pull out about 2-3cm threads, press with the thread pressing plate for use
3.Place the fabric: Use your right index finger to lift the pressing plate, lay the fabric (thickness not exceeding 0.8 mm) that is ready for sewing flatly under the pressing plate, gently place it back under the pressing plate to hold the fabric
4.Sewing Operation: Hold the fabric with your left hand, gently and quickly press down on the top edge of the upper cover with your right thumb until it reaches the bottom, then press down again with your right thumb repeatedly.The feed mechanism automatically moves the fabric to the left.Gradually move your right hand to the right while holding the fabric with your left hand to gently move the fabric to the left in rhythm with the sewing until sewing is complete
5.End: When sewing is finished, use scissors to cut the thread ends, gently pull up the presser foot to remove the fabric.From the reverse side of the fabric being sewn, pull out the thread ends, thread them into the adjacent loop, tighten and tie a knot to secure the stitching.Do not forcefully pull on the fabric to cut the thread ends, as this may damage the needle or stitching
6.This machine can automatically feed fabric and adjust the tightness between stitches, but it is necessary to pay attention to the following points:
A.The pin is too tight; adjust the pressure nut slightly counterclockwise
B.The pin is too loose, adjust the pressure nut slightly clockwise;
As shown, adjust the correct stitch tightness.If you need larger stitches, pull the fabric slightly faster with your left hand.If you need tighter stitches, pull the fabric slightly slower with your left hand
7, Change Thread Bobbin; If changing to a larger thread bobbin, connect the spare extension rod to the thread tube shaft, insert the larger bobbin.Place the spare plastic cap at the end of the rod to secure the larger bobbin, then re-thread and adjust thread tension before sewing; Use 50#-90#Cotton or synthetic threads work well;
8. Replace the needle: Loosen the fixing screw, take out the broken needle. Install the new needle as shown, making sure the flat side of the needle faces the fixing screw correctly. Do not install it backwards. Needle type DHK-14
