Installation Instructions

1. Determine the mounting location on the hull. Be careful not to cross any wires, pipes or other obstacles when selecting the mounting hole location. All power tool must be well grounded.

2. Cut the mounting hole in the hull with a hole saw (2 inches in diameter).

3. Place the socket into the opening and adjust it so that the socket is aligned with the hull. Using the socket as a template, mark the mounting hole location on the socket with a pencil. Remove the socket and drill the hole using 1/8inch drill bit.

4. Remove the rear safety cover from the socket.

5. Pull the internal cable through the hull opening. CAUTION: Use 16AWG, 14AWG, or 12AWG wire. Never use smaller gauge wire as this may cause overheating and possible electrical fire.
