Product description
Famous Old Beijing Stone Grounded Sesame Peanut Paste. Each batch of sesame and peanuts is dry roasted under low heat for 6hrs before undergoing a stone grounding process for 12 hours. Made exactly in the traditional way to reduce bitterness and enhance the sweetness.
Why is it called 2-8 sauce? 2-8 sauce is the traditional ratio of 20% sesame and 80% peanuts. Sesame brings out the fragrance while peanuts enhances the sweetness and texture of the paste.
Perfect for dry tossing dan dan mian, or using as a dipping sauce for your hotpot.
To use: Mix equal parts of water and sesame-peanut paste and stir well. Add salt to taste
