Cooking Instructions:
Thaw steaks in chilled conditions (0-4°C). Once steaks are thawed, remove the steaks from chiller and allow steaks to reach room temperature (20-25°C). Pre-heat pan at high heat and add in a tablespoon of a high smoke point cooking oil. Once oil reaches ±200°C, lay steaks onto the pan and adjust heat to medium-high. Leave steak to cook and sear until desired doneness, flipping the steak to get an even sear and crust.
Serving Suggestion:
Umami Beef is best enjoyed when cooked to an internal temperature of ±63°C for a medium to medium-well doneness and allow steaks to rest for 4-5 minutes before serving.
