I've used other brands of kinetic sand before, TOKI Sand truly stands in a league of its own. I kept it simply in a ziplock bag and it really does not dry out, even after many months. After rinsing TOKI Sand off, some sand particles may remain in the washing area. But they are a lot more fine than typical sand, which makes it very easy to rinse off the floor.
