COLLOMACK is a 10% solution of salicylic acid in an organic solvent mixture which is applied externally to the skin in order to remove the skin in the event of hardening caused by warts, corns and calluses.
Always apply Collomack exactly as indicated. Consult the doctor or pharmacist if the patient is at all uncertain.
Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, for warts, corns and calluses apply Collomack twice a day to the areas to be treated using the brush attached to the bottle cap. Collomack should be used daily.
Before reapplication of Collomack the remaining procyclin film should be removed. Collomack is tor external use only and should not be taken internally.
When applying Collomack care should be taken not to allow the solution to touch healthy skin.
Treatment should be continued for a week after the symptoms have disappeared.

Salicylic acid can intensify the penetration of other locally applied pharmaceutical products into the skin. When absorbed into the blood stream salicylic acid can increase the harmful effects of methotrexate and amplify the blood sugar reducing effect of sulfonylureas.
