Q: Do i need to use oil?

A: Yes, using oil is essential while cooking, it provides a protective layer for the cookware. Dry heating the cookware can harm the ceramic coating over time. Neoflam cookware allows for reduced oil usage while cooking. Remember to add oil before heating up the cookware.

Q: Can this be used on induction cooktop?

A: Yes, Neoflam cookware are build to be compatible with induction hob. However, we cannot advise on the compatibility with any specific brand or model of induction hob as certain induction hobs are more sensitive.

Q: Can I still use the cookware if there are scratches on the ceramic coating?

A: Yes, it is safe to use the cookware even with scratches as the ceramic coating does not release PTFE, PFAS, or any harmful chemicals. However, you may encounter sticking issues in the damaged area.

Important Notes

For Gas Stove Users, Please Take Note:

Due to nature of wood, the Fika series wooden handle nearer to the gas stove may develop burn marks. This is an inevitable consequence of direct exposure to the flame. (Even if the flames do not reach the wooden handle, the heat may still cause the handle to darken)

Compatibility solely refers to whether the cookware can be used on various stovetops, including gas, induction, ceramic, or electric.

It's important to note that maintaining the product's aesthetic appeal is not considered a factor in compatibility, especially for gas stove users.

To minimize the occurrence of burn marks, you can consider the below two options:

1) Lower your gas stove fire.

2) Wrap aluminum foil or a kitchen towel around the wooden handle. (Feel free to contact us for photo references)
