Replacement key shell for the smart remote car key of Lexus LM in the 2019 model year

Application scope: Applicable to the original vehicle's built-in remote control. This model cannot be used for the later-added anti-theft device.

Replacement Steps:

1. Take out the mechanical key: Locate the release button or mechanism for the mechanical key on the key. Press or slide it, and then take out the mechanical key from the smart card remote control key.

2. Separate the key shell: Use the mechanical key or a small flathead screwdriver, insert it into the groove or gap of the key shell, and gently pry or rotate it to separate the key shell along the snap connection.

3. Remove the chip and battery: After opening the key shell, carefully remove the chip circuit board and the battery from the original key shell. Pay attention to observe the installation direction of the battery and the fixing method of the chip to avoid damage.

4. Transfer the chip and battery: Carefully place the chip and the battery into the new key shell, ensuring that the chip is properly installed and the positive and negative poles of the battery are in the correct direction.

5. Assemble the new key shell: Align the two halves of the key shell, gently press or snap them together to completely assemble the new key shell. Ensure that the snaps are firmly fastened to avoid looseness.
