These installations are very easy. No modification is required at all. Just use a small flat-blade screwdriver to remove the lampshade, and directly replace the stock lamp with the LED lamp. Since the LED light has + and-terminals, if it does not light up after being plugged into the socket, you only need to reverse the terminals.
