Product description
"Jääde" is a brand of natural spring water, sourced from the Salpausselkä Ridge in Lahti, Finland, and is pronounced "Yah-dey". It's named after the Finnish words "jää" (ice) and "lähde" (spring), reflecting the purity of its water source.
- This water has been stored in an underground aquifer formed over 10,000 years ago during the last Ice Age, remaining untouched by man.
- Naturally filtered by the ridges and eskers of the Salpausselkä, and cleansed by dense layers of sand and gravel.
- Bottled at source with the bottling facility 1.2km away from the water source
- Jääde's Bag-in-Box (BIB) packaging is sustainable and hygienic, featuring a design that includes 75% corrugated box. The BIB is fully recyclable, with bags made from 53% renewable and recycled materials, enabling easy separation and efficient recycling.
- The inner bag maintains product hygiene with an internationally patented integrated valve design that prevents air and bacterial intrusion, ensuring freshness for several weeks.
- BIB packaging saves up to 80% of raw material consumption compared to PET bottles, reduces storage space, enhances logistics efficiency, and significantly reduces carbon footprint.
- Jääde embodies purity and excellence, offering consumers an unparalleled taste of untouched Nordic freshness
