Amaebi, or spot prawns, are cold water shrimp known for their sweet taste. They are the only species of shrimp that are best enjoyed raw, as cooking them will rob them of their sweet taste and creamy texture. OosterBay’s Amaebi are wild-caught in the cold waters between Russia and Northern Japan.
These are the finest sashimi-grade amaebi you can find and are packed whole, shell-on.
