Gu Qingjiao, born in 1948, is from Suzhou, Jiangsu. National first-class artist. Member of the Chinese Artists Association. Vice President of Jiangsu Flower and Bird Painting Research Association, Director of Jiangsu Chinese Painting Society, President of Wuxi Flower and Bird Painting Research Association, Art Consultant of Wuxi Artists Association.

His work "Silk Road" won the gold medal in the Silk Road Art Exhibition. The works "Animals and Scenery", "Jiangnan Musli and Silk Love" participated in the 7th, 8th and 11th National Art Exhibitions respectively. His work "Wu Tea Rhyme" participated in the National Exhibition of Chinese Painting Figures. His works "The Eighteen Martial Arts of Emperor Wu of Han" "The Picture of Ju Zhu Qiang Soldiers in Front of the Tent" and "The Double Great Sword and Artifacts of the Tang Dynasty" participated in the second, fourth and sixth National Sports Art Exhibitions respectively. His work "Thirteen Monks" won the 6th National Sports Art Exhibition of Good Award. "Water Town Style" won the Bronze Award at the 6th National New Year Picture Exhibition.
