Choco Musk is one of the standouts of the Al Rehab line, and frankly, if you are a fan of milky cocoa-vanillas, then you can’t afford not to have at least a small rollerball of this in your collection. At first, the scent is subtle to the point of being barely detectable but give it time and you will notice a pale, blond milky aroma fluffing up around you. It is not a pure, dark chocolate scent, but rather, a vanilla stirred through with cocoa powder, with the faint, under-the-skirts whiff of McVities Digestives. The real power in this scent is when the undercurrent of thick condensed milk, which smells like hot vanilla milk boiled with golden sugar, bubbles up. Although it is nowhere near as powerful or expensive-smelling, there is a resemblance to the caramelized vanilla-musk accord in Tihota. Perhaps more accurately, it resembles Vanilla by Molinard, which possesses a similarly doughy texture.
