UMF Certification – Taylor Pass honey is a member of the UMF Honey association. This means that the honey meets the strict grading criteria so that you can be assured that every jar is 100% pure, genuine and true to the label. The testing is done at independent laboratories and test certificates are available for every jar of UMF certified honey. Every jar of UMF certified honey is tested, packed and labelled in New Zealand. 

 

UMF 15+ Contains MGO 514+. MGO stands for Methylglyoxal and it is a naturally occurring compound found in the Manuka honey which is responsible for its antibacterial properties. The higher the UMF number, the higher the MGO content and the more antibacterial strength the honey has.
