He started drawing comic strips in 1963.
In 1971, he served as the TV art director of Guangqi Society.
Far East Cartoon Company was established in 1976.
In 1981, he founded the Dragon Cartoon Company and produced cartoon films such as "Colorful Cartoon Old Master" and "Oolong Yuan". "Old Master" won the Golden Horse Award for Cartoon Film Feature Film.In 1983, the four-frame comic works began to be serialized for a long time in newspapers and periodicals in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, and Japan.
In 1985, he was selected as one of the top ten outstanding young people in Taiwan.
"Zhuangzi Shuo" was published in 1986 and ranked first in the best-seller list for more than ten months.
In 1987, classic comics such as "Laozi Shuo" and four-frame comics such as "Journey to the West 38 Changes" were published one after another. The translations include German, Japanese, Russian, French, etc., and have been translated into more than 20 languages.
