Product description
The AD7606 is a 16-bit, 8-channel analogue-to-digital data acquisition chip with simultaneous sampling and a sampling rate of up to 200 kSPS per channel. It has built-in analogue input clamping protection, a second-order anti-alias filter, a track-and-hold amplifier, a 16-bit charge-redistribution successive-approximation ADC, a digital filter, a 2.5 V reference voltage source, a reference voltage buffer, and high-speed serial and parallel interfaces. Powered by a single 5V supply with on-chip filtering and high input impedance, it eliminates the need to drive op amps and external bipolar power supplies; the anti-alias filter has a 3dB cut-off frequency of 22 kHz; it features 40dB anti-alias rejection at a sampling rate of 200kSPS; and input clamping protection circuitry ensures input withstand voltages of up to 16.5V for power line monitoring and protection applications, It can be applied in power line monitoring and protection, multi-phase motor control, instrumentation and control, multi-axis positioning, data acquisition and other systems.
