Introduction:The MAX30102 is an integrated module for pulse oximetry and heart rate monitor biosensors. It integrates a red and an infrared LED, photodetectors, optical devices, and low-noise electronic circuitry with ambient light suppression.The MAX30102 uses a 1.8V power supply and a separate 5.0V for the internal LEDs, and is applied to wearable devices for heart rate and oximetry acquisition and detection, and is worn on the fingers, earlobes, and wrists, among other places. The standard I2C-compatible communication interface can transmit the collected values to microcontrollers such as Arduino and KL25Z for heart rate and blood oxygen calculations. In addition, the chip can be software shutdown module, standby current is close to zero, to achieve the power supply is always maintained power state. Because of its excellent performance the chip is used in a large number of Samsung Galaxy S series mobile phones. Compared with its predecessor MAX30100, the chip has an integrated glass cover to effectively eliminate external and internal light interference, and has the best reliable performance.
