This five-meal set is a souvenir version of the legendary Hakata-style ramen served at Ichiran ramen restaurants in Japan. Developed with Ichiran's famous attention to detail, these tonkotsu (pork bone) noodles have been carefully created from an original recipe to give you an authentic Ichiran experience at home.
• Hakata thin noodles (dried): 75g x 5
• Original Spicy Red Seasoning: 1g x 5
Ichiran is a chain of ramen restaurants first founded in Fukuoka in 1966. Claimed by many, including Forbes Magazine, to be the best ramen in the world, the 65 restaurants throughout Japan ramen fans from around the world. Tonkotsu, or pork bone, ramen, is one of the most popular types of ramen in Japan, and many agree that Ichiran's obsessive attention to detail has elevated the dish to its greatest possible form. Now, fans can enjoy Ichiran wherever they are in the world with their at-home souvenir sets.
1. Bring 450 mL of water per serve to boil in a saucepan.
2. Add noodles and cook to your desired texture following the below guide.
3. Turn off heat and stir in soup mixture.
4. Transfer to a bowl and add Original Spicy Red Seasoning following the below guide. Please note that this seasoning is around twice as spicy as the Original Spicy Red Sauce served in-store, so we recommend adding a little at a time.
4. Top with your choice of flavorings: pork slices, green onion, boiled egg, etc.
