Chinese artist and disciple of Zhang Daqian, Tian Shiguang hand-painted animal, White Ape, certificate collection

Tian Shiguang (October 1916-july 1999) , Gongwei, originally from Laoling, Shandong province, lived in Liulangzhuang, xihaidian, Beijing. Under the tutelage of Mr. Zhang Daqian, Mr. Zhao Mengzhu, Mr. Wu Jingting, Mr. Yu Feiyan, Mr. Qi Baishi Zhu. In his early years, he was a disciple of Zhang Daqian. In his early years, he studied at the Beijing Academy of Fine Arts, specializing in traditional Chinese painting of flowers and birds. Before liberation, he was a full-time teacher of national art in Bac Binh and a professor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He has been engaged in flower-bird and landscape painting for a long time, inheriting the fine traditional skills of song-yuan double-hook fine brushwork flower-bird painting and endowing it with the new spirit of the times, so he is a famous modern fine brushwork flower-bird painter of our country. Mr. Tian Shiguang is a China Artists Association member, Vice President of Beijing fine brushwork heavy color painting, and the first member of the Council of the Chinese Painting Academy.
