Product description
If you're looking to enjoy matcha on it's own without adding milk or sugar, our Kirishima Saemidori, Ceremonial Grade matcha will be the ideal choice for you. Sourced from Kirishima in Kagoshima prefecture, this matcha has very little bitter notes with close to no astringency. Interestingly you'll notice floral notes and some sweetness as well which is typical of and unique to the saemidori cultivar. The flavour is not overly complex but still enjoyable when drinking as an usucha (thin tea) or koicha (thick tea). Unlike our other matcha powders we do not recommend adding milk to this as the flavours of the Kirishima Saemidori will be drowned out.
