Hong Yi (1880-1942) , also known as Li Xishang, Li An, Li Liang, spectrum name Wen Tao, young name Cheng, academic name Guang Hou, word Xishang, alias mouthwash. Hong Yi is a famous musician, art educator, calligrapher, dramatic activist and one of the pioneers of Chinese drama. After returning from studying abroad in Japan, he worked as a teacher and editor, and later became a monk. His name was Hong Yi, his last name was Wan Qing, and he was later called Master Hong Yi.
