The fruit of raspberry is a kind of aggregate fruit, red, gold and black. It is used as a fruit in Europe and the United States. It is widely distributed in China but is less known. It is only cultivated in a small amount in the Northeast and is relatively rare in the market. The raspberry plant can be used as medicine and has a variety of medicinal values. Habitat

Raspberries are small shrubs that bear early fruit and are easy to enter the full fruit period. Raspberry has a shallow root system and is not drought tolerant. Insufficient water will inhibit growth and fruiting. The flowering period is from April to May, and the fruiting period is June to July. Excessive evaporation of soil water and insufficient water will affect the yield.

Raspberry is a light-loving tree without a stem of more than two and a half years. The above-ground part is composed of 1-year-old branches and 2-year-old branches. Flower buds are formed in the leaf axils of the new shoots, and the following backup buds germinate weakly. After the main bud dies, the backup buds can replace the main bud and bear fruit, but the yield of the backup buds is low. Raspberry has a well-developed root system, which is composed of rhizomes and lateral roots. There are many lateral adventitious roots growing from the rhizomes, and new basal branches are easy to sprout on the distal end of the adventitious roots.
