Chinese artist, Wu Guanzhong calligraphy painting hand-painted traditional Chinese painting Jiangnan Water Village Arch Bridge Boat, certificate collection

Wu Guanzhong (1919-2010) , a native of Yixing, Jiangsu Province, is a famous contemporary painter, oil painter and art educator. His representative works include “Three Gorges”, “Northern scenery”, “Bird paradise”, “Huangshan pine” and “Lu Xun's hometown”. Personal anthology has“Wu Guanzhong on art collection”, “Wu Guanzhong selected prose”, “Beauty and ugliness” and so on more than 10 kinds. At 23:57 on June 25,2010, Wu Guanzhong passed away in a Beijing Hospital. He was 91 years old on April 4,2016, wu Guanzhong's oil painting “Zhouzhuang” sold for HK $236 million, a record for a Chinese oil painting at auction.
